Rubio's Fresh Mex TV Spot

When I got a call from my friends over at Engine Company 1 about shooting some clips for a Rubio's TV ad, I was stoked! We spent all day at the beach shooting, despite the rain.. and ended up with some really fun additions to the collection of existing still imagry. I shot all of the live action shots in the spot, which is basically include the intro and the last few clips at the end. Check it!

Cleaning House

So, with 2010 right around the corner, and with lots of new shoots coming up, big travel plans, and hopefully a busy new year, I thought I'd clear out all my back logged blog posts.. get em' done and start fresh. The idea is that once I catch up, it will be a lot easier to keep up. Here it is.. the last four months of 2009. New years resolution to update my blog and get current, CHECK!

Third Eye Blind Album Shoot: Ursa Major

Here is the final piece! Third eye blinds more recently released album featuring over a dozen images I shot with them back in the fall. With Mary Scott as the designer, Claire Mack styling the band, and not to mention the ridiculous locations, it really turned out to be a stellar project.

Self Assignment II

Shot this series in Marin, with Jasmine Hamed styling and Renee Rael on Hair and Make-up. It was a full full day.. I think we ended up going for 10 hours or so, right up till sundown, so thanks to everyone for all the hard work and for sticking it out! Models Nekole Kemelle and Nicole Grinsell were killer to work with, and my buddy Guru was a blessing to have helping out. THANKS!!

Remember those shots I took on a backpacking trip in Yosemite? Well, one came in particularly handy when I got an assignment from Fast Company magazine, and I got to use it as the background image in my photo illustration.
